We are in the grip of Coptic Storms, according to Social Media. Certainly, it is very dusty out, and there is a lot of rain and wind, but I don't hold with the idea that it is predictable enough to assign dates to it. Not in these modern times at least. Coincidence or otherwise the Sea Front was fairly inhospitible when I went out this morning. The dust was very bad, though there were some nice waves to be seen. Most people had sensibly stayed indoors, and I only recorded one film before retreating to my car. Incidentally, the dust isn't smog pollution, it comes from the Sahara and other deserts in Africa. That's one blessing at least. It won't be around forever though.
