Troodos Winter Drive

This is a pleasant drive from Platres up to Troodos Square after the first real snowfalls of the year. So admire the scenery as I carefully avoid ice and try to keep my eyes on the road. From the Square I head up to Sun Valley Ski Resort to see what is happening on the slopes. If you are making the journey yourself, do it in a 4x4 or put chains on your tyres. Also, come early, and avoid the weekend if at all possible. Another cold snap is forecast for later in the week...
