All about Kleftiko....

Post by cyprusmax47 »

I thought I will share this article with you as it is very different to the usual ones concerning wild fires, drought, Polis highway delay...

I am not a big meat eater, never was, but a nice tender Kleftiko, cooked nearly half day in the outdoor oven with lovely potatoes I have enjoyed many times, many years ago at special taverns or weddings....in the Paphos area.

There is a recently opened outside kleftiko place on the road from Coral Bay into Peyia on the right hand side. Open on Fridays. They are on Facebook. Traditional Kleftiko Peyia.

That is an interesting article, thanks Max. I never knew Kleftiko was considered a supper meal.
