UKTV provider recommendations

Post by Suetal »

Hi
I’m having big problems with my current UKTV provider and am looking for an alternative, I would need a turn on and off , as I’m not a permanment resident.
Any suggestions would be grateful received as I’m here now for ten weeks and looking to change asap
TIA

I use Triotech, just down the hill fom M&S in the old town, you just buy the box, about Euro 100, no monthly payments and you get uk chanels and 4 weeks catch up.#Gary.

We’re with CyprusInternet with a switch on/off service, in Tala. See their website, great service & back up. They have internet, and or tv packages, no charge for switch off/on, details all on website, great support service.

It's not really clear whether you need a new internet service or a TV service, or both?

I've not heard of 'switch on/off TV services'

We've just swapped from the unreliable Netcom to Fusion who seem to be excellent so far, as our internet provider - they do switch on/off

For IPTV, we have a Firestick and have a subscription with 'someone' which has hundreds of channels that we can watch wherever we are - we take it everywhere.

Thank you all
Don’t need the internet service only the IPTV, which I pay for only while I’m here.

I have used Fusion IT for many years now, both internet and TV subscription, very reasonably priced and reliable.
I started off with nothing and have most of it left !

We've just signed up with Fusion, I didn't know they did IPTV - is it an app on a fire-stick or a different box?
