New Cemetery in Peyia

Post by Mandyr »

Has anyone been up to the so called new cemetery? It’s on a bend on left hand side just before the main cemetery going up the hill. There are no signs and it’s actually a dirt track with a deep channel dug out on the left side so one drives down the dirt track quite a way in and then you find the so called cemetery!!! There are about a dozen graves so far and it’s an absolute dump still with no signs.
Neither of us are religious but there is no respect for the dead there.

With respect isn't it disrespectful to the people at rest there to call it a " so called cemetery", ?.

Given that they are concerned as to the state of the cemetery, I am sure the recently departed will understand.
