Where can I find the Sterling/Euro exchange applicable for the 2024 tax year?

If you use the Customs and Excise figures, a government department the rate is 1.179

If you go on to the ECB site and enter the dates for 01/01/2024 to 31/12/2024 you will find the yearly average of the exchange rate.

I got the rate 0.84662.

I have used the same method on all my tax returns with no problems.
