Kindle Malfunction

Post by Firefly »

I know quite a lot of people use a Kindle these days, so here goes.

My Kindle is now sometimes static when I try to swipe to the next page, then it races ahead for a good few pages, meaning I have to keep swiping back to the correct page. Yesterday I loaded a new book in a series that I was reading, the book downloaded okay, but then when I tried to open it, it went to the last page of the book.

I do know that this happens if you have already read the book, but I hadn't read it before. Does anyone know why this is happening, and what to do to stop it happening again.

Thank you for any advice.
Jackie

Hi Jackie,
Try rebooting your Kindle by holding the On button for about 20+ seconds. It sometimes works.

Thank you Alan, I'll give it a try. Hopefully, I don't need a new one.
