Mobile phone on a UK network presumably?
Does she have roaming enabled a) on her contract and b) her phone?
What's her UK network?
Does it show if she's connected to a CY network?

Have you tried switching airplane mode on and off, or restarting her phone? Sometimes that helps. Also, check if roaming is enabled or ask her carrier for advice.

Could always try buying a local Sim such as so easy top it up and use that whilst here. Available in loads of local kiosks, just a thought. 8-)
I started off with nothing and have most of it left !

Ensure she has roaming in her “contract package” if not she’ll have a hefty bill.

It is now over two days since you asked the forum members for help – Yet NO acknowledgement of the replies posted to you – You have been asked questions in order to help you but still no reply – If you have not checked your original post for replies then why ask in the first place – If you have checked and not responded then that is just ignorance.

Trans am, in response to you post,i must apologise for not posting a thank you to the good people who replied.
After 3 weeks in Paphos General and 2 weeks n rehab at the hospice, my daughter came from Scotland to bring me home.
This waslate last week, so as you can imagine,we had lots to catch up with. She went to Cyta yesterday and they fixed a network problem.
I have posted a new subject and will make sure of a quick response to any replies.
