Leaving house to return to UK and preventing mould

Post by Anarita John »

For the last two years we have returned to the UK for 10 weeks during Jan, Feb and early March, only to return with mould on the ceilings of the two bedrooms which receive minimum sun and a high area in our hall. This year, we set all of our 5 air con units on heat, at 18c and, thanks to our solar panels, the cost was around 20cents per day. Result, no mould. By the way, we have solar panels and net metering.

I hadn't thought of that, and it's awesome that it only costs a little bit.

We have LG Invertor units, fitted and serviced by Greenair, and they are super efficient, as long as you keep the air filter on the top clean, which we do. They were last seviced in November, and it was amazing just how much dirt was washed out.
