From Droushia to Chrysochou

Post by Dominic »

Regular viewers with good memories may recall drone flights I have posted of the amazing countryside you can find near Droushia. The valley headed down towards Chrysochou has a lot of hidden nooks and crannies and is totally unspoilt.

In this film we start at the picnic area outside Ineia, where you might stop before embarking on an adventure across the Akamas. We though, head in the opposite direction, towards Ineia. We turn left before the village, to give you an alternate route through Droushia before heading down to Gravity Road. From there we take a beautiful off-road route to Chrysochou Green Point.

Thank you so much Dominic, I loved the video, and yes, you passed by my old home, lump in throat.

The 'gravity' bit of the road can be tried out, on the last pull in, as you head towards the turn off for Drouseia on your right, going toward Kathikas from Polis, on the main road, (where you left the road coming down from Drouseia). If memory serves, if you pull into the layby and then take off your handbrake, you expect to roll forward, in fact you roll backwards. I think I have that right!

You are most welcome! I will try that out one day with the handbreak.
