So, last night it was already very chilly at my place above Paphos town with 3C at sunrise this morning.
I hope that after Monday the temperatures come back to normal as I don't like these cold conditions which were also one of the reasons I left Germany for good long long time ago.
In my 20th and 30th I had no problem to have barbecue in snowy conditions in the forest, or sleeping in a tent with outside temperatures of minus 30C.
However acclimatized to the Cyprus weather in the last 40 years or so, I don't like cold or snow anymore, actually I hate it.

I'm quite enjoying it, the air is lovely and fresh and it makes a nice change after the mild January (and last few winters). It helps that it's not raining though, as it would be more miserable then (though yes, I know we desperately need rain).
But yes, I like cold spells to be quite short lived, I definitely would not want a whole winter of it.
