From Chloraka to St George

Post by Dominic »

Yesterday I took a load of garden waste down to the Green Point in Chloraka. Recycling is definitely catching on in Cyprus as all the bins and skips were almost full up. As it was a lovely sunny day I decided to drive from the Green Point to St George's Hotel. I wanted to fly the drone there as I noticed last time I was passing that the hotel was being renovated. So in this film we start at one of the gateways to Paphos and drive through Chloraka. Rather than take a direct route to the hotel, we go via Lemba Art College and explore the countryside between there and the coast. We finish by heading East to St George.

Ah well that is part of the fun of it. For instance, there was definitely water in the stream that went through Lemba Park. And when I visited the gorge near Koili a few years ago I was amazed how much water there was.
