Air con deep cleaning

Just had our air con units deep cleaned by Greenair. Very knowlegable engineer called Matteus who did a really clean job. We use our LG air con units for heating during the winter and we were getting black soot coming out of the unit we use most. They are now spotless inside and running again like new. We should have had them done a couple of years ago and now will have them cleaned every year.
They were cleaned with water, squirted into the units and then collected in a plastic covering which went over the unit and drained into a plastic bottle. The water was jet black. We had moved our funtiture out of the way.

Matteus also told us to go to a shop called Etapol, and buy an aerosol of their air con cleaner/steriliser. He said that everytime we clean the filters, which we do regularly, spray and this would kill any mould, bacteria etc. It's expensive but worth it to keep safe. The shop is, coming off the motorway, left, down past McDonalds, turning right at the traffic lights at the MG garage. To the roundabout, straight across and Etapol is opposite Travel Express, on the right. We haven't been yet.
