So, i changed my mind and drove down to the beach from my place in the Paphos hinterland thinking it would perhaps be cooler at the sea front.

But far from it! When I arrived there, the temperature was even higher with 36 C and very high humidity... no wind at all.
The next surprise was the size of the fish, which for one person was a little over the top, weighing nearly 500 gr.

As one can see the fish was harpooned, which suppose to be a better taste...
So, after a short while my starters arrived: village sourdough bread, cold red wine, village salad, sea salt, lemons which I squeeze into the salad.

Well, my village salad was also very generous and it was hard to mix it without making a mess at the table

10 minutes later I had finished half of it and at the bottom all the nice green stuff I like too much (garlic, selery, parseley, fennel, lettuce, cucumber...)

I just managed to finish the salad and some bread and wine when the main dish arrived.

I must say it was hard work eating all that fish after my starters in this heat.... but I managed it at the end...

However the chips I could not finish all of them (and I love their chips) as there is also coffee and dessert waiting for my stomach.

So dessert (Tsipopitta) and Greek coffee from the house i also ate and after 2 hours lunch I rushed home as a lot of people arrived, looking for empty tables. At home i needed 1 hour siesta for digestion and a cup of tea......
