If Trump becomes President as is likely the huge changes which he has indicated he will make concerning both Foreign Affairs and the foreign defence treaties the USA currently has with NATO would probably affect Europe adversely as he is a friend of Mr Putin.
Whether the fact that he is still alive will be a blessing or a curse if he becomes President of the USA we will find out in due course.

What a nasty statement. I don't like the man myself, but I wouldn't wish or hope for his death.

Besides, if his last administration is anything to go by, what he says in rallies is slightly different to what actually happens.

And personally, I would feel safer with somebody in power who can actually talk to Putin. Who knows, if Trunp could reign NATO's expansionist agenda in a bit, it might not be a bad thing.

Trump and Putin, two men obsessed with power. What that will mean for the world, God only knows.

As for the shooting, I think Trump was very lucky, he might not be so lucky next time.

Biden got Covid now which will make the situation even worse.

In my opinion they are both too old for this job and have both mentally problems, however not similar ones....

It's quite clear that sadly, Biden has dementia, and obviously therefore, unfit to lead America. Why he's still in office beats me.

As I see it, Trump has a major personality disorder, and so is another unfit for office. Why the people of the USA can't see it, I know not. Then again, maybe I'm wrong.

Yes, have been thinking along your lines, Firefly. What puzzles me, is why a nation the size of the USA can't find anyone younger, with the special leadership and political awareness skills who is prepared to take on this very important role of the next president?

That is bizarre. Mind you, they've got form. How old was Reagan?

Some believe that with age comes wisdom, but we all know that isn't true.

Trump shouts the loudest, and it follows that those who shout the loudest get best served. During the recent general election, our Conservative MP was voted out, (many years a conservative stronghold) now gone Green, why? because, I believe, that we were bombarded with her leaflets, knocks on the door, posters put up, etc etc. She also replied to emails from prospective supporters, not a thing from the other parties, and no, I didn't vote for her.

The USA needs a personality as strong as Trump, but without his mental issues.

A boss once tried to tell me that some of the best managers in the world live in Switzerland but only get it right 40% of the time. Beginning to wonder if this recent phenomena called AI is the future answer to everything
