It is common knowledge, that having a sunbath the body produces plenty Vitamin D, specially in the Cyprus sun. However when you get older and also a sun-tanned skin, you need quite a time (more than half hour) to get your dose of the vitamin.
Until last week I used to get an hour exposed to sun, however these days in that heat >40c I prefer the air conditioned rooms...
Interested how I can get Vitamin D from other sources, (not supplements) I did some more research and found that article:" Do mushrooms have Vit D"
Normal white mushrooms, exposed 15 minutes to the sun should be enough to get plenty Vitamin D, while with other types of farmed mushrooms, like oysters, you will get a Vitamin bomb, after this short time and, as an added bonus, surface-sterilize them too.

Thanks for that information. Here in the UK we need another source as sunshine is definitely lacking.
