After a couple of much cooler days, Summer will be back from Tuesday/Wednesday with temperatures at Paphos even more than Nicosia....
Very high for April with 35c in the Paphos area.

Myth or not, we've lived here 20 years and almost every year something like this turns up. Some years have been worse than others.......
I am living here permanently more than 40 years now and must say that 20 years ago the Coptic calendar was far more accurate then nowadays with the climate change obviously everything is changing ....
For example I cannot remember any night in April was so hot as last night with 28c until dawn. No wonder I woke up so many times.

Same here, and I've been here 20 years (and Malta all my life before that). I normally haven't got fans out yet and last night I put the a/c on. It's crazy.
Very strange day today in Anarita. Cloud cover all day and we only made 7.33kwh on our pv system, compared to 18.3kwh in Wales. (only the second time we have made more in Wales than Cyprus)
We have also had very light rain from lunchtime onwards, just a constant few spots, which is very unusual for Cyprus. However, our washing did manage to dry.
No need for aircon in the house, unlike a few days ago when it got up to 28c in the house and we recorded 37c on our car thermometer.
El Tel, enjoy your painting. We got some local paint from Nikonicass for our railings and it didn't go gloopy in the heat, unlike another famous metal paint.

One day later however, today, you should have produced more than 6 kWh per 1 kWp installed solar modules, even with the few clouds we had ...
Max, one day later and a perfect day for solar production. Solar edge graph a perfect upwards and downwards curve. Sky not perfectly clear yet and we did not reach our peak of 5kw. Peak production 1:15pm at 4.6kw. PV panels probably dusty from last nights light rain. Today's production, 36.4kwh.
In Wales we have generated 22.8kwh today and even at 6:45pm we are producing 1.5kw and exporting 5kw from our battery and 1.4kw solar to the grid at a peak price of 0.29gbp per kwh.
