Coral bay avenue roadworks

Post by ast »

A restaurant owner on the Coral Bay strip whom is a friend of mine told me that from 15th November road works would commence and will last six months, this involves digging up the road and will affect all businesses, some that usually remain open during the winter / off season may now choose to close.

If you frequent this area, then now you know. 8-)
I started off with nothing and have most of it left !

And your friend was right- more disruption -for those businesses that have not already closed for the Winter. They have now blocked off the road from outside the bank of Cyprus right down to the Crown Hotel-

This also has resulted in a diversion for the 615 and 616 buses which now run along the main road where Philippos is, then turn left down the road where the small roundabout is and past the Crown hotel and continues along to the Corallia Beach Hotel terminus

There has been plenty of warning this was going to happen so time for businesses to find other options.
A minor detour for vehicles and public transport.
Some places have access from the rear.

Unlike some areas such as Peyia and Paphos.
