Bio ethanol fuel

Hello everyone. I’m new to the forum but have had an apartment in Paphos for the last 17 years and we try and get out 4-5 times a year.

We’d love to install a wood burner but it needs a flue which won’t work in an apartment block.

We’ve seen a nice looking bio ethanol burner on Amazon which will solve the problem and whilst we can bring this out on our next trip, we don’t think it will be safe (or permitted) to bring the bio ethanol fuel over in our case.

I can see there are places to buy the fuel in Larnaca and Limassol but I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any suppliers in or close to Paphos to save the trek?

We have a bioethanol fire and love it. We bought it from Volcano in Nicosia, who also supplied the fuel at the same time. They deliver fuel on demand to customers island-wide. We’ve not had to request more fuel and so don’t know the delivery charge, but from other experiences it seems that delivery does not cost much here. Having said that, it would be nice to find a supplier in Paphos.

I think Zaggoulos, just down from the neon mall sell bioethanol fires and fuel.

Have you considered a pellet stove as an alternative? They can be fitted in an apartment I believe

I’ll let you know! We have looked at pellet stoves but we think the Bioethanol one we found is really lovely and a good price too but thank you for the suggestion,

Just a quick thank you as we finally got hold of Zaggoulos and they do stock the fuel so it will be a 15 minute round trip for us instead of a 90 minute trek to Limassol.
