With almost consistently fantastic weather, around 3.4 million people have already visited at halfway point the largest folk festival in the world: that's almost half a million more than last year.
Showmen and Oktoberfest hosts have been very satisfied so far. Visitors drank around six percent more beer than last year at the halfway point of the Oktoberfest.
