Building insurance experiences

Post by sunspot »

Has anyone had experience with the local companies for *building* insurance? Ever made a claim? How was their response?

We are looking at Atlantic (insurance company offering their own policies) and Abbeygate (broker offering policies from Lloyds).

Thank you!

I have all my cars, property and business with atlantic, claimed a couple of times for cars and one big one for the house when we had a pipe burst , and the house was flooded , paid up fairly and promptly, would recommend them every time

Same experience as WHL. Very good service with Atlantic, claimed also a few times, never had a problem. With them for many many years.

Ditto, WHL & Louise

Friendly and reliable staff to deal with and paid me for my claim when they could probably have made excuses not to!

We always used Atlantic for all our insurances in Cyprus. Always Excellent, professional service.
