Cyprus may witness hottest day ever....

Usually the hot summer comes much earlier than this year, however it looks like that we get record temperatures these days and nights in return.

My old fridge could not cope with the high temperatures indoors anymore, as it was only climate class SN (max 32c) So I needed a new one as the kitchen temperature was raising above 32c....

I was posted to Nicosia in 1986, based at the airport. Our accommodation was old Nissen huts across the road. If you think your kitchen is hot, try living in one of those! Our section started work at 13:00 and went through until 07:00. Nights weren't much cooler either in summer.
