Re: Teletext Holidays, Conn
I'm amazed in this day and age that people still use Teletext holidays when you can choose exactly what you want on a pc / laptop or tablet and book it immediately....

Especially if you've been coming to Cyprus for donkey years and know so many people, have so many friends etc. Why would you need to use teletext???

I was led to believe that teletext largely died a few years ago, when analogue TV on terrestrial, cable and satellite all became extinct.. Or am I wrong?
I know that teletext 888 still exists on cable and sat, for the optional Subtitles feature on STBs for the audibly-impaired viewers. AL

Who mentioned sponging? Many of us in Cyprus know of flight/accommodation deals and happily pass them on to friends. A friend of mine posted several v cheap Thomson flights on Facebook only yesterday.
Before moving out here I had been visiting regularly for around 18 years and rarely had a problem finding good flights and accommodation. Flexibility is the key.
