I wouldn't want to see any of my loved ones poured down the toilet.

Or waft away in a puff of smoke?

I have recently buried my wife after 63 years of marriage. Even though neither of us were religious, two priests did their ritual as she was lowered into the ground. I added the first part of the Lord's prayer in English, as much for the people round the grave, as for myself. My hypocrisy stopped there.

I think that burial, where space permits, is good. "Dust to dust" seems to be an excellent solution. If there were a god, I think this would be his intention.

Sorry for your loss, this is a personal thing, and there is no right or wrong way , its what ever feels right for the individual, having said that I know some couples who would happily flush their partner down the loo

Sorry for your loss Devil.

I would like a large catapult to be erected at the old Lighthouse in The Akamas. They would then fire my body out over the med, while a lone bagpiper sliced up their instrument with a sharp knife, and promised never to play it again.

It's all down to personal choice.

I am having a woodland burial in beautiful Herefordshire.

My late husband however, decided upon a cremation, but requested that his ashes be placed into my coffin with me.

I think it's what you decide at the end of the day.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

You can have your beloved pet Creemated, and have them sadly put to sleep beforhand, but humans have to be flown off Cyprus to get a Cremation...why? I do remeber Moreen (Mo) trying her best to get this service up and running.....why this long wait? Perhalps they will get us a seccond time arround..

Dee unfortunatly we all do not have this choice, it is very expensive to be flown back to a country that does do Cremations..Even if that is what you would wish, I am happy to have my feet sticking out of Cypriot soil.. :D
