Been here over 15 yrs and yet the €19500 tax free allowance has never changed....?..Wonder why?..

It was reported in the run-up to the presidential elections that it was “hoped” to increase the allowance to €25000. Watch out for pigs overhead.

Maybe it's because salaries for people employed locally have also not increased in well over 15 years.
