I went through Heathrow the last time they were on strike, the Army were checking passports and believe it or not we got through faster then usual.

It's the office that issues the passports not the Border Police that are going on strike this time........................bit difficult to get in and out of the country without a valid passport.

I hope that they aren't being paid for those five weeks, and if they can afford to live for five weeks without any pay,then they don't need a pay rise.

I read somewhere that their union reckons it has enough funds to make sure that the strikers can receive pay.
