What dust? Your third photo seems fairly clear. Round here, the visibility is average. However, PM1 (particulate matter <0.001 m) is not very visible, but can reach the lungs. When it is PM10, it is visible but less harmful.

There is a lot of dust in the third photo. Look at the top right of the picture.

Dust levels are high in Paphos at the moment. Were you out and about in Paphos you would be able to see this for yourself.

Exactly, normally I can see the whole Troodos mountains from that position, however these days only the villages on the first hills can be seen clearly, like Amargeti or new Pentalia....
Further if one watched the Paphos webcams (Elean and Green Air) today and yesterday, it was most of the time murky and blurred.

The reading on the Gov.website for dust was yesterday and today more than 100 (PM 10)in the mornings which is red warning zone.

The idea of the topic came from the surprise when I downloaded the photos and they showed a better result than i thought in the first place. I photographed the almond blossom many times and published it here on the forum in the past. Here one image from last February when there was no dust in the air and one could see the antennas at Troodos peak in 50 km distance...
