Thanks, but I´m afraid that´s a different model. The sun article is about a silvercrest for GBP 50.-, whereas the one on offer at Lidl this week is a Bosch for €139.- (just realized now that it will only be available as of Saturday, so my question was a bit premature).

That's the model that I bought several months ago which I am very pleased with.Has good suction, though not as powerful as my larger electrically operated cylinder one.It does a good job both on carpets and tiled floors. It is easy to operate and is both light and easy to manouvre. Mine also has a light on its front which is useful when cleaning dark corners in a room.

Are you talking about the Silvercrest or the Bosch?

My daughter tested it this morning for 2 min. It's not top notch (no HEPA- filter), but given the price it's OK. It picked up dog hair from a carpet (short piled, though) quite well.

It's probably not equivalent to some of the much higher priced Shark ones, and doesn't boast a HEPA filter, but at only €139, mine is still performing well. I bought it to sweep both tiled and carpeted floors which it does well.

Better still, if anything does go wrong LIDL are most helpful.

You get what you pay for!
