All residence documents are moving to a standard format across the EU so it applies to Nationals and Residents. The card will replace paper versions as they do not facilitate facial and finger print recognition which is the cornerstone of the new digital EU border system.

I hear what you say.. but again no links to any offical websites to back up your claim that yellow slips for UK nationals will expire in 2026..

Europe is trying to bring in standard ID for EU citzens.. i havent seen anything offical for ID cards of non EU citzens who are residents.. if you have seen anything offical then please provide links

Did you have to book an appointment on line and was it a 3 months wait?
