Eco house build experiences?

Has anyone here used Ecotek or similar companies to have a house built? We are thinking of buying land and using a company to build an eco friendly home. I like the idea of a house that stays cool/warm unlike the usual build here. It's all a bit daunting! so thanks in advance for any info.

I suggest you contact a competent architect because the rules and regulations for building are pretty stiff, especially in the Paphos region which has the strictest earthquake regulations.

Yes. Steve at EcoTek did the original engineering drawings for our house but we chose not to build with them. Our house kit was constructed by a company in Scotland and shipped here. Everything was coordinated and subsequently project managed by our architect here - from designs to permissions, contractor management, completion certificates and title deed applications.

Thanks both. Tried EcoTek but they don't build in Paphos any more as they feel it is too far away from Limassol.
