Please can anyone help? Has anyone posted a mixed gift parcel to an EU country lately? No matter how I try I cannot get the form to give me the HS codes for the items I wish to include! I have sent 3 or 4 parcels since the new form was introduced. Annoyingly complex, but nevertheless achievable, and successfully sent! Not this time! I continually get a red "error" box every time I try! Messaged the Shipping tool help team to no avail! HELP!

I just gave up! I thought that the whole new system introduced by the Cyprus Post following Brexit and during the pandemic is more suited to commercial transactions. Far too and un necessarily complicated,
I don't send parcel from here since! Waiting until I go to the UK where the PO has stuck to the same green declaration form when sending gifts abroad.
I also had a horrendous experience when I decided to post some previously worn clothes (ie not new purchases) from the UK, to my Cyprus address. It took me 2 months to finally get them. In the meantime the parcel arrived in Larnaca, was sent to customs in. Nicosia. When I was finally contacted, having made exhaustive attempts to find out where this parcel had gone. I was supposed to download a form with full details and value of goods. I couldn't download the form.
It tool 2 or 3 phone calls to PO,Nicosia Custome to convince them my-parcel had no taxable commercial value. I finally won, they sent my parcel to Paphos. I was fortunate to find it.
I will never use this so called postal service again!

Finally! Got a reply from the Post office! Nice of them to tell us - but the rules have been changed when sending to EU countries! The shipping tool form still has to be used, but is now EASY - as HS codes are no longer required in the EU! Just item description, country of origin, weight. Cost and number of items.The man that rang me was very helpful, for which I will be eternally grateful! And thank you for your comments too.
