Car wash & WAX

Post by trevnhil »

I am looking for somewhere to take our smaller car that has a Wax application maybe at the end of the wash.
I was also hoping that it could be done 'while I wait'. I am aware of one near Lidl , but I was hoping that there was a wax application that goes on as part of the wash somethere.

When we go to the Mall we often get our car valeted there. Not had it waxed but they make a really good job of washing. I also noticed yesterday, in the rain, the wipers were working much more efficiently and water was beading on the windscreen and the droplets were being moved off the windscreen by the wind, so I didn't have to put the wipers on as early. Don't know if it was something the car wash people had used but I was impressed as there was no smearing when I eventually put the wipers on.

More than 10 years I am using the Esso-Station opposite Mc Donald's and next to Blue Cross Hospital. When I sold my BMW after 6 years driving, it looked like new and I believe this was due to the fact that I washed it at least every 3-4 weeks at their car wash facilities. It gets obviously every time a shower of wax before it is complete through the tunnel washer. They raised the price recently to 12.50 Euro, but I think it is still worth if you care about your car. Their advertise: " Our company has one of the most modern and fast car washes in Cyprus"

Thanks once again Max. It was on your recommendation a couple of years ago that I started going there. I didn't know about the Wax though.
So I may well end up going back there. You used to get a free cup of coffee, as well as being able to sit in comfort and read an English language paper.

That's still the same. As soon as I pay I am questioned which type of coffee I would like to have....
You will see after a couple of washes how nice the car looks, compare to before.
