Nuclear power Stations seem like the obvious way to provide 'clean' electricity.' But they are not without risk.... Certainly while the war in Ukraine continues. More use of natural gas as a back up perhaps?
If only Cyprus would reach some kind of peaceful co existence with its northern neighbour, and thus allow the extraction of off shore natural gas from the sea bed to the east of the island. But I suppose pigs might fly first, mores the pity.

Professor James Kerr-Lindsey covers the Cyprus problem and Gas finds in a question and answer on a YouTube video which is very interesting and provides a balanced view on the problem. He is an International Negotiator and has released several videos covering the Cyprus problem.
