Water Dispenser

Post by norman347 »

We have used a water dispenser trouble free for a few years, but recently the air bubbles are not going through the water when drawing water. Anybody have any experience of problems and how to overcome them.
Cheers Norman.

First thing to do is take it apart from the top. Our top ring just moves a little one way and then lifts off
The ball valve can be taken out and cleaned and anything else you can see.. Despite it being pure water there was a build up of hard deposits on our machine

Thanks for your replies. I have tried clearing breather and put another bottle in and so far it seems ok. Looking at it with the bottle in it looks like the top part is not removable but I will have a proper look when the bottle is empty. Maybe with moving it about it has disturbed the ball cock.

One thing for sure is that if you are drawing water off through the tap then air must be replacing the water in the bottle. If not the bottle would collapse inward.

I often watch a funny German series where they every time they try to get some water from their dispenser nothing comes out. However a little bang on the top of the water container does finally the job.... ;)
