SCAM CALLS FROM BANK!

I am sure that you are all aware and can easily spot scam phone calls from a so called bank. However in my case there has been a spate of them. Almost everyday. Always to the house phone . Never the mobile. They normally say " Its your bank calling" without naming the bank. They are trying to get details of debit cards. I mention this because an acquaintance was scammed recently which showed that even the brightest among us can get caught,

Just ask them "which bank"

I don't ask which bank. Too easy. I often play the part of a decrepit old man who cant remember where his debit card is and has to go and look for it. Its a part , which my wife says ,requires no acting experience. I don't know what she means by this.

Anyway I am getting a bit fed up with it and now just hang up.

I always keep them hanging on the phone - I consider it a public service by keeping them from bothering others!
