Daleela ferry left this morning the port of Limassol and sailed for its first trip to Greece. After 21 years, Cypriots once again have the opportunity to travel by ship to Greece and back. Despite the initial difficulties the endeavor was finally successful due to the insistent efforts of Deputy Minister of Shipping Vasilios Demetriades and his associates.

Yes, at present the sailings announced were only for the peak holiday months, maybe more will be announced if the demand is sufficient. Let's hope it is. The ferry appears to be a relatively small RO-RO type ferry.
