Is parking still difficult to pick people up at the airport?

I was there a couple of weeks ago on a Wednesday late afternoon and there was loads of parking in car park and at drop off/pick up points. I was quite surprised considering the things I'd heard.

Same for me, two weeks ago it was fine and parked in the drop off / Short stay ok, five weeks ago different story as no entry to Short stay it was blocked off and full. hopefully its now sorted whatever was wrong.
