If they can’t respect the laws of country that are offering them a fresh start then send them back to where they came from.
hope your not being racist, I got accused of that, the evidence has finally materialised of what my wife and I had to put up with for 1year and 10months, in the end we moved, but not to Dominic's pleasure out of the country.
I don’t think being racist or not comes into it - the latest immigrants who just happen to be of African descent appear to be predominantly young men - if a large number of young men are thrown together with nothing to occupy them and presumably little money, then there will eventually be trouble of some sort, be it fighting amongst themselves or some form of crime, their skin colour, nationality or creed doesn’t matter.
Anyone who goes to live in another country for whatever reason should obey the laws of that country - it is just common courtesy to do that, I would say even more so if you are a refugee or seeking asylum and expecting that new country to take you in with no means of support as the majority of immigrants to Cyprus have had to prove before being granted residency.
Agree with what you think , Mouse. Wherever they come from they should respect laws in this country. If they are being accommodated free of charge ( even if they are paying) that's no excuse for staging their own disturbance and potentially wrecking their hosts hotel property. I hope that they are fined and have to pay for anything they have damaged.
Hopefully the ring leaders were dealt with by the police and court.

Awful scenes. I hope this isn’t the start of things to come.
it's been going on several years but not publicised, but now it's in the tourist area, it's plain to see, have been told they also reciding in club st George resort. I've not checked that couldn't be bothered.
Obviously the behaviour can't be condoned.
However, around the same time, dairy farmers poured milk over the streets outside the presidential palace, piled hay against the gates and set fire to it, and allegedly tried to ram the gates. A few broken chairs isn't really on the same level, but seems to have generated a greater reaction.
