Our latest bill dropped into the inbox earlier this week. The idea of credits being carried forward rather than zeroed that was discussed previously on a separate thread, has now been implemented and reflected in our bill.

Re: AIK Net Metering Bill
Our Bill is due in the next few days, so that is good to hear Ian.
Unfortunately, we just have 1 (one) unit in the bank

Our meter hasn't been read yet. However, I calculated that we gave back 100 kwh at the last bill, so it will be good to see these units added to our bank. With the cold March, we were in minus territory for most of March and have just over 300 kwh in the bank at the moment whereas by this time last year, we had saved 700kwh.

If you wish to, you can take control of the timing and submit your import and export readings by text. I used to do it by phone as our gates prevent access to the meter, but now use the text option. You get a text back pretty quickly confirming they’ve received it, in fact this time they rang me back to doub,E check the numbers as they were quite similar.Anarita John wrote: ↑Sun May 08, 2022 11:19 am Our meter hasn't been read yet. Re: AIK Net Metering Bill
This thread is interesting for me as we are getting the physical installation done on the roof next week. It took me 2¾ years to get this far because of bureaucratic EAC stupidities. I am probably wrong but I thought that the connection could be made immediately after the inspection???
