We need to bond together two pieces of wood and because one of the pieces of wood is in a bad state, we need a really strong wood glue. We have used PVA in he past but it wouldn't be up to this job.
Can you get No More Nails, or equivalent over here? Any recommendations and where to buy would be appreciated.
Thanks

I've also used it to stick decking board to a concrete step.Cappielow1 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 4:31 pm Or Gorilla glue, I've stuck mono blocking together with that with no problems.

Gorilla glue is probably the best, but you must follow the instructions on the pack to get the best out of it. And don't use too much at a time, as it expands.

Thanks for all the help/advice. We bought Gorilla Glue from One Stop today. They have a good range, just inside the front door, to the left.

They now do a clear version that does not expand, used to to fix something to glass and also to a wall where I did not want to drill, both are rock solid.DavidatLWH wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 10:06 am Gorilla glue is probably the best, but you must follow the instructions on the pack to get the best out of it. We used the Gorilla Glue yesterday afternoon to bond two pieces of wood, one of which was falling apart. It worked a treat, solid as a rock this morning!
