'The health ministry noted those additional jabs are optional, meaning the validity of the European Digital Certificate (SafePass) will not be affected in case children choose to not receive the third or adults the fourth dose'.

In that case it will be interesting to see how many do go ahead and have the fourth dose as soon as they become eligible.

I find your keenness to get the vaccine for yourself coupled with your willingness to throw at risk people under the bus to be quite repulsive.

Yes, it is of concern, particularly by someone of a similar age to many people who contribute to this forum and who, from their comments, think of the wellbeing of others as much as their own health. By protecting yourself you are automatically helping to protect other people.

Perhaps think of everyone as being 'at risk' - after all Covid is affecting people all over the planet.

We are still being very careful. Going shopping when the shops are quieter. Lidl today at 8am, just after the school children rush, followed by Alpha Mega. Still doing big shops, which we never used to do in Cyprus, so will not need to go again for a couple of weeks at least. Even if we were in the UK, we would still wear our masks in shops. Outside, when I am walking, I don't wear a mask, but if I see someone coming the other way with one on, I put mine on.
Sorry, I do not agree we should live with covid. Just do everything in our power to avoid catching it. Even though I regard myself as fully fit, I know that after my heart op, my chest is not 100% and I often do double breaths, completely involuntery, which results in me choking.
As soon as the fouth booster is available, we will have it. A friend in the UK who is regarded as vulnerable, has already had hers.

Don't talk such rubbish! Cheap point-scoring.

I am not talking rubbish. I am saying how I find your posts here, and how I think they make you look. You act like a spoilt child when people don't agree with your point of view here. You label them "Forum Police" or that pseudo one I can't even be bothered to look up. It isn't a good look.

What a strange spin. It is good news if the medical evidence points to a reduction in measures. Nobody here has ever said that we should carry on as we are indefinitely. Cyprus hasn't finally accepted anything. They are just following the advice of their experts. Compare that to the UK sledgehammer approach and I know where I'd rather live.

We live our lives as normal as possible but just follow the rules.
If it means it helps one person to avoid catching Covid then that's a bonus.

You can have whatever view you like. As can everybody else. In my view, as I said, you are a bit repulsive. But it’s how you choose to behave and only reflects on you, so what do I care?
