Polemi and Panagia Snow

Post by Dominic »

The weather is crazy at the moment! I made this film this morning, on the 13th March 2022. We start out in Polemi, in the midst of a snowfall. I tried sticking the camera on the roof as usual, but before we had driven out of Polemi it had turned into a snowball. So most of the film is shot from within the car. Please excuse any clips of a dirty dashboard. I have yet to clean it!

Anyway, we drive through Pano Panagia until we get to Chrysoroyiatissa Monastery. I finish there because after that it was mainly thick fog until we reached Amargeti.

If you are out in this, drive safely.

This is a 4K film saved to HD. I did that so it would upload more quickly. If anybody wants the 4K version let me know and I will upload it. It is exactly the same, just in 4K.

I loved seeing this video as I went up to Panagia yesterday afternoon and took loads of photos of what I thought was a lot of snow - but it was only around a third of what I can see in this video. So it was interesting to see what it looked like just a few hours before.
