This might be the link you're looking for, Uncle D:

You would think that a bus journey of this nature, from Paphos to Lemesos (Limassol) would also take in PFO én-route in both directions? I stand to be (hopefully) corrected, but I can find no evidence of this vital link on the Intercity bus route concerned...
Maybe it would cost them too much for an armed Police escort into and out of PFO each time, in order to deter the Paphos Taxi Mafia from shooting out the tyres of each bus with their 12 bore pump action shotguns (as used on 'hunting' days)?
An alternative mode of travel is a hair-raising ride in a time-tabled 'Service Taxi' from up in Paphos Old Town. Old lwb Mercs, overtaking on blind bends, a white knuckle ride, for sure... (Driver has watched too much "Fast & Furious" on video)... You might even have an old lady cuddling a lamb or goat alongside you, LOL! But low cost!
Cheers- AL

it picks up opposite Debenhams near super home store and drops off on the same side of Debenhams on the way back. it used to pick up near the old town market but i don't know if it does at the moment with the road works. We have used it to go on the cruises from Limassol.

Does it stop at PFO outward and return, darrow?

No, it doesn't go to the airport. After the pick up stops in Paphos goes through to Limassol with a couple of stops there, onto the port which is the final destination.

There's a separate bus service (612) from/to Kato Pafos bus station / PFO Runs til 1am in the morning
Also from Karavella bus station, but much limited service (613) that possibly links with the intercity buses.

I have just noticed that the airport bus service only operates from KP bus station in the summer & from Karavella in the winter.

Thanks for the info and link, Mike! I must say that their route maps (with mouse-over popups showing each stop én-route both ways) are very impressive... Super-fast to load and showing all the info you need to plan your journey.
So the bus company finally won their battle with the taxi mafia? Or is there still friction and spoiling tactics in play? What is the fare from PFO to Paphos harbour bus station, please? How does this compare to 2017 taxi prices, any idea?
One thing I used to absolutely detest when asking for a taxi from PFO into K. Paphos (as a lone traveller, when it was CY£8-00 typically) was that the Obergruppenfuehrer Fat Controller in charge of PFO Taxi Mafia operations outside Arrivals always wanted to 'fill' each taxi...
So I'd end up with another single px to be dropped at the Phaeton, plus a couple to then be dropped at the Aloe, and finally me, at the Theseas. Naturally, all three parties involved EACH had to pay the CY£8-00 (+ tip) for their journey. What a scam! Creating a shared one-off 'Service Taxi' basically, and profiteering BIG time at the same time, what a rip-off!
Does this dubious practice still go on, I wonder?

Al......the bus fare from PFO to town is 1.5 Euros. A taxi fare (if you book in advance) is around 25 Euros. I don't know what the airport taxis charge I'm afraid. You can also buy a day pass ticket for 5 Euros which lets you travel all round Paphos district eg Polis/Latsi etc on buses that are generally punctual and comfortable. It's changed a lot from when you were here I think. I too remember the 8cy£ and things transport wise are much better than they were then.
