Travel to the North

Post by Beechwood »

I’ll be shortly arriving in Paphos. Whilst I’m over I will need to travel to the North (going and returning on the same day).

Has anybody done this recently and if so what is required to comply with Covid regulations both ways?

I’m a UK citizen who has received my booster.

Thanks in advance

We have English friends who live in the north of the island who visit us here in the south and they tell us that all they are asked for at the border is proof of vaccination and or a safe pass.Plus passports of course.

There's some information on travelling to the north from UK under Entry Requirements on the FCO Gov UK website.

Search FCO Cyprus and you can locate it easily enough.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know what value of goods you can bring back? We know you're not allowed to bring back meat, fish, tobacco or alcohol. Thanks

Friends of my wife, had handbags they bought over there taken off them, because they are fakes, this was at the Nicosia crossing.
