Whoa! Earthquake!

6.4Mb magnitude at a depth of 2 KlM from initial reports whole house shook for 20 seconds !! Lost the outside electric for a little bit during the quake ! Scary the biggest I have experienced here

Really shook our place. I was awake reading when it hit and the wife jumped out of bed. We stood under the doorway till it faded away.

Mega shake, whole Villa rocked!
Now calm, time for a cup of tea....scary!..

yeah, it was the largest in our area since 1995 when it was 5,7 Richter. It was in the same spot just outside Akamas. This time however relatively deep with ca 55 km.

I am dressed and waiting what will happen the next hours. Sure we will get some aftershocks...
