Last year we ate at that restaurant and were completely underwhelmed by the experience. Whilst surrounding restaurants were full, we were the only foursome in the Ilia. Maybe we should have realised this at the time but were using a voucher for a 50% discount on the bill. The bill came to €120 and the food was not even worth the €60 we paid. Not surprisingly we have not been back. People can draw their own conclusions as to the origin of the fire, I will not speculate.

I see DD have a voucher for Duomo at the moment and their food is lovely.

Quite by chance we had a meal at Duomo on Saturday. It was good, not perhaps the best, but was up there with the best. Did you know that if you live here and speak to the manager they will give you a plastic card which gives you 30% of all meals in perpetuum? That saved us €60 alone on Saturday night!

Unfortunately they don't do gluten free, so we no longer eat there. Our daughter can't eat wheat. We all used to love it though, and the waiters were excellent too.
