For those who can't be bothered to read the whole article......
At the very end it says....
"NB: this does not apply to UK residents."

Re: EUDCC Must be digital from tomorrow.
Pretty certain it can’t.Happy in Cyprus wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 3:10 am I could be wrong, but I don't see how a non Smart phone can display the square QR code required by scanners.
However, having read a few comments on other social media, am barking up the wrong carob tree here but is there a bit of a terminology issue going on here?
The EU website where we and other EU residents obtain the certificate from clearly refer to it as the ‘EU Digital COVID Certificate’ which we can either download OR print. So digital can mean both its content, ie a QR code, or how it’s presented ie in digital format on a phone for scanning or printed for scanning
Does this announcement just mean that proof of vaccination from EU residents entering EU nations will only be the ‘digital’ certificate with QR code on a phone or printed, rather than all the myriad of vaccination cards each health system probably has which can’t be scanned and is a doddle to fake?
Limiting travel to only those with access to a smartphone, as some are inferring, rather than a printer or a smartphone, would be a new level of crazy.
Feels like maybe something is lost in translation here?

Found it, but.... can't install it on my Samsung phone as apparently my type of Samsung is not suitable for this app. I have the printed version with the QR code, that will have to do.Jim B wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 7:01 amIt's now under Covpass Cyprus, sorry for the confusion.LouiseCastricum wrote: ↑Fri Aug 13, 2021 11:27 pmfeel so stupid, but still can't find it. drives me crazy.....

The ‘inferring’ comment was not aimed at you Mouse, but other social media comments I have read on this subject as mentioned in my post.
