We have been using a printed copy of the Cyprus flight pass plus a copy of the NHS vaccination certificate. Most places look at the vaccination cert and usually need talking through the dates of the two vaccinations. Not yet been asked to provide ID docs (passport or driving licence) to support the name on the certificate.
So presumably it will be ok to carry around our printed NHS vaccinations certificates, hubby doesn't carry a phone? As you say need them for flight pass anyway. Will reprint them nearer the time as ones printed for recent trip to Greece QR code will have expired. Obviously haven't got an MEU.
Thanks
Yes a printed copy will be fine. Good point on the QR code expiry, although so far nobody has tried to scan it.

You might find this from the VisitCyprus website useful. It answers your question, essentially carry a copy of the flightpass you create prior to travel and (paper or digital).

This version is dated 8 July, suggest checking again nearer your time of travel in case of any significant changes.

Will this still be needed mid September? its easy enough to carry driving licences I guess, its only to go into supermarkets, will pass on IKEA!
I am amazed that people don't have their driving licence or other items to use as ID

Yes, me to. I always carry my driving license. Should the police need to stop me they would probably want to see it.

We've only had new driving licences with photo ID for a couple of months, changed from our old UK pink ones as I read they might not be accepted everywhere after Brexit.

They would, or should, be accepted with no problems for ID purposes

You may find the pass on the Apple app expires after a week or so and requires you to renew your registration

I always understood it was a requirement to carry some form of ID in Cyprus. At least more places accept a driving licence with a photograph instead of a Passport or MEU document. One advantage of the MUKW card over the 'Yellow Slip' but not incentive enough for me to pay €30 to apply for one.

I think while the drive continues to get as many people vaccinated as possible having to show a SafePass is here to stay for several months, especially over winter.
