Car engine jet wash or steam clean.

Hi everyone,
would you know where I can get my car engine jet washed or steam cleaned, are there any garages who offer this service?

Try one of the car wash guys,most of them have power washers,ideally you need a hot wash,cover electrics though!

When we bought a car around 3 years ago, under the bonnet was really clean. But I never got to know who the garage took it to, to make it like that. So I will be interested in the answers to this especially steam cleaning

Don't have the engine too hot,some degreasers are flammable!,also cold water on some engine parts particularly on old cars like exhaust manifolds can crack

Just a thought,few years ago I brought a Karcher pressure washer,best thing I ever brought!,with a suitable degreaser it's perfect for cleaning anything on the car,patio,you name it,beware though being high pressure water you have to cover certain items on an engine i.e. electrics and air intakes,

Also if using degreasers on engine, be careful not to leave it on body work.
