2 Break-ins, Tala and Peyia

The warning came just as two homes were broken into in Tala and Peyia, with robbers getting away with more than 53 thousand euro in jewellery, watches and cash.

A friend who lives in Kamares was burgled at the weekend. Horrible for her, particularly after the terrible time she's been having of late.

But why do people keep so much money and jewelry in their homes.
Maybe a safety deposit box at a bank would be a safer option?
Though in some cases, owners have had a strong room built into their home.

It was at least 4 break ins at Kamares Tala seems it coincided with an event at a local golf club. Someone staking out the area !

These thieves plying their trade,if they broke into our abode they would probably feel sorry for us and leave something with us.No seriously before you got burgled the tea leaves have sussed out your property and KNOW you are not at home.
They watch your home they see you go out,follow you see you go into a restaurant,know then you are away for a couple of hours you are then easy,,,, bingo,,they are home and dry.
